See/Saw
Like with all the other Ehea products, the See/Saw mirror draws its inspiration from past, reflecting a story linked to Tiina's (Eheas founder) ‚family and transferring it into a contemporary design.
The wooden foot of the design refers to ornamental wooden bars often found in traditional pieces of furniture as well as in old, wooden architecture. Tiinas father also used those ornamental bars in his wooden clocks. In the See/Saw mirror, most of those traditional ornaments are discarded and only the raw shape is left, giving the design a contemporary appearance and pointing to the future.
The faceted bottom of the wooden foot also lets you tilt the See/Saw mirror, adding both practicability as well as an interactive and playful aspect to the object.
The double sided mirror’s architectural, round arch gives the impression of a door or window. It's positioned directly in the middle of the wooden bar, mirroring it and giving you the impression of being transparent.
The See/Saw mirror is both a practical as well as a decorative object with an interactive usability approach, fitting Eheas brand philosophy. The design is reminiscent of the past while also pointing towards the future.
The wooden foot of the See/Saw mirror is made from birch, a resilient, sustainable and local wood. It is available in a natural finish as well as in several glossy colors.
